My 2018 New Year's resolution ... Less bass buying, more bass playing.
This year I've decided to narrow down my personal collection to only a select few, so up for sale and priced to sell fast is my German Warwick Starbass II ... She's in stunning condition and a really beautiful looking and sounding instrument that can produce really booming lows and super clean, articulated highs.
Specs:
German Warwick Starbass II
Bubinga semi hollow body design.
21 frets ovankol neck / 34" scale
Wenge fretboard with brass bell frets.
Brass "Just-A-Nut" III bridge
2 volume , 2 tone controls
Active / passive selector switch
Approximately 9 Lbs
Comes with a deluxe padded Warwick gig bag (one of the best gig bags I've ever seen) Also comes with Certificate of origin from Warwick and original Warwick accessory bag.
This bass is in truly mint condition and could easily pass as new. She was recently set up and has a brand new set of D'addario nickel rounds on her. The only reason I'm selling her is because a bass like this should be played and played often. These days I've been sticking to my Fender's almost exclusively and so I don't want this beauty to become a closet queen. I watched some YouTube videos on this Starbass and fell in love with the tone so I bought her impulsively.
She has fantastic low end presence and punch and sits in the mix beautifully .... C'mon, it's Lee Sklar's bass of choice and that's a pretty strong endorsement in itself!
$2,650 + shipping at buyer's expense
Thanks for considering.
