Get new speakers Or new cabinet?

I have a Carvin brx10.2n 600 watts @4 ohms & love it !! I also have an ADA hx 2x10 that is 8ohms @ 300 watts. What do you guys think.? buy new speakers to match what I have in the brx10.2 and make it a 4 ohm cab, or just buy another brx10.2 ? Btw. The ADA cab is ported.

Thank you for the reply. im using a carvin bx1500 amp

2 power amps deliver 300w at 8 ohm, 450w at 4 ohms, and 750w at 2 ohm each or 900w at 8 ohm bridged or 1500w at 4 ohms bridged

Bass cabs have to be designed to exactly match the requirements of the speakers inside. You can't just swap same sized speakers and expect good results as if it were a guitar cab.

If you need more speakers, match what you are already using.

Get the matching 8 ohm 210. No question this is the right choice. You'll have much more potential volume this way.

But if don't care for the sound/tone of the 210, rather than change drivers, sell it & pick up or build (or have built) a cab you do like.
