Ugh, I'm having a terrible time with attachments today. <grumble, grumble, old fart stuff>In case I disappear between now and then, as I am wont to do sometimes, let me emit a somewhat premature birthday greeting in your general direction!

Doctor's office is still trying to figure out why the other two routine authorizations aren't going through I use washers but I also like leather straps, and some of the end pins don't leave much room for washers unless I hunt down some fairly thin ones at the hardware store.
Grump and Snow White are an item
Are you a monkey, too? Many thanks.
it's the 28th before anyone begins asking.
My 64th birthday is next week. Came to bass "late" after taught on saxophone in the traditional system. See notes, read and play notes. In a way the bass opened my way to actually playing music instead of merely playing the music as written. Will make it there someday![]()

I bought these, but they were too thick for my strap.I use these.
Yes. They are plain and simple.
Yes. They do work.
No. I do not have to drill bigger holes in my bass (personal preference).

You're a whole week older than I am.I didn't have a name for a while because my parents were expecting another girl - surprise!
I took piano lessons for a short while, didn't get past the boring 'music' and didn't stick with it. The only reasons that I played clarinet for a short while was that I wanted to be in the school band, my parents didn't have much money with five kids in the house, and my aunt had one that wasn't being used. I always had an appreciation for music, but when I really started paying attention in the late sixties (The Animals, Zeppelin, Beatles, Hendrix, Joplin, Alvin Lee, Motown, etc...), I was totally focused on the bass lines. I finally got into the bass clef with a trombone. Switched to baritone horn so I could play faster, and finally traded the old 'bone for a POS Kingston violin bass, learning lines from 45's. Still foolin' around with bass geetars after all these years...
I'll still feed you (if you're in my neighborhood) when you hit the magic number.I made my very first meatloaf a couple of days ago and it turned out great.
