Getting ready to venture out...

tight music, but the singer is boring to watch. Obviously, when practicing it's hard to engage the audience because there is none. If during your first gig he's just standing there like that, have a talk with him about it.

Starts at one level of volume and intensity and stays there the whole time. I have no idea what the lyrics are, they are unintelligible. Very little visual interest. I would likely stay for one more to see if it got more interesting. If not I would drink up and book it.

The audio quality of the video was so poor that I couldn't understand the vocals at all. It wasn't until almost two minutes into the song that I saw that the lead singer had arms. He can't just stand in front of the mic stand with his arms behind his back. If he's not engaged in the song, the audience won't be either.

I'd recommend taking away his mic stand, unless he's likely to need it for self-defense wherever you play.
