*** see pic below××× new satin two tone (ice tea burst) all dings taken out, fret dressing, black dot inlays and some black hardware touch up's). Bada$$!

I still like my 34" scale VF's so salenor trade for this bad mama jama.

    ***Old news*** before this
went to the shop*** see pic at the end***
This one has natural finish with a LOT of mojo. There is a lot of player wear and finish cracks but it's worth the price.

    Light ash body
Birdseye maple neck and fingerboard and vintage style frets on this L5 *compared to my other)
34.5" scale and flatter neck profile than BN series.
Black hipshot ultralight tuners and hipshot B style bridge.
Same f-bass pickups and pre as BN series but pickups are 70's position.

These were made by George Furlanetto alone and there are only a handful or so (I have two).

    Comes with sandberg gig bag.

It has some dings and scratches but this is a killer bass.

Trades only for nordy vj4, vp4, fbass vf4 or vf5.

Interesting. I assume this was a predecessor of FBass?

No, just a special run that george decided to do. Was in between the BN and VF series if I remember right.

I dont have those but to me the body shape is kind of MTD like and not quite as streamlined as the BN series.
Still has all the contours tho (forearm and belly).

I owned one of these - very nice bass. Slimmer neck than the BN. According to George (I asked him about the GFC in an email) the GFC was his first attempt (prototype) for a more "vintage" style bass. The pickups are in the 70's position for more "burp" (as he put it) but it was too close to the BN so he went on to create the GF series.

20191123_210703.jpg 20191123_210604.jpg It looks like this now and only a vf4, vf5 could persuade me to trade. 20191119_154328.jpg

Yah possibly. I will think about it and see if my selling price can get me a vf4 or vf5 that I want.

definitely have my eyes on this still Thumby! You know I've been looking for an old (pre -04) BN and theyre hard to come by. This checks the boxes.. Lemme know if you're still interested in the Limited Edition Metro! Comes with Nords and OEM Duncans.

I am gonna be picky on this one for trades. Has to be something I put to use and right now that would be an f-bass vf4, vf5, nordy vj4 or vp4 and I'd also entertain the right Suhr jazz, valenti or lull v4. Sadowsky metro but more 4-string UV type or modern 4.
