GHS Flats

GHS only has one true flatwound set,GHS Precision Flatwound, and the strings have purple silk .They also have a string they call "Brite Flats" but these are not true flatwounds, they are ground roundwounds. I love the GHS Precision Flatwounds. I am doing a Blues gig this weekend and I will be using a P with GHS Flats ! Steve

I've had both Brite Flats and Precision flats. I love the Precision Flats.
Brites have too tight of tension for me.

anyway, i thought the P-Flats had black silk and the Brite Flats have Purple Silk?

either way, i'm pretty colorblind...

I have them on my bass for about three months. They are amazing! They taste a little like the TIs I had once (heresy!), but with more low mids and without the floppyness (sp?) of the TIs.

As for the tension, they are almost the same as my previous hi-beams. I didn't even touched the truss rod.
