GHS Precision Flats Vs LaBella 760FX

I love TI flats. Unfortunately, the only thing I don't like about them is the tension/stiffness. LaBella LT flats I think would still be too low tension for me.

I've narrowed it down to the GHS Precision Flats (light gauge) and LaBella 760FX. They are both more 'thumpy' and old school sounding I know, but ideally, I want a string that plays like the TI with just a LITTLE more tension. Which of these two would do the job best?

Of those two, the LaBellas are quite a bit brighter, closer to the TIs. I think that tension-wise, the LaBellas are just a bit lighter than average, but nowhere near as light as the TIs, whereas the GHS Precisions are more on the heavy side.

(I happen to prefer the GHS Precisions, because I really like the dull, thumpy thing, but that's just me.)

Have you tried Chromes? They are not my string of choice specifically due to the high tension/stiffness. I use LaBella 43-104 which seem to have a fair bit of "give" to them, at least more than the GHS and certainly more than Chromes. I also love TI's, but my current setup and downtuning call for something stiffer as well.
