Rotosounds are brighter, grippier, and have a lesser degree of pressurewound-ness resulting in more string noise like rounds.

The main difference between the two is the outer wrap wire material. Alloy 52 (nickel-iron alloy) vs. Stainless Steel. I personally prefer the tone and feel of Alloy 52.
