Gibson EB Style Pickup

Hello folks, I'm building a frankenstein instrument and I am looking for a pickup that will sound like that big fat neck humbucker on a gibson Eb-3. I know DiMarzio makes pickups that fit that slot, but they pride themselves on the fact they don't have that gibson sound. Are there any companies or makers that make a pickup that would be able to achieve this sound?

I would pay some cash on those Novaks. Artec and Gotoh make cheap replacements that are better than the stock Epiphone pups, but they don't quite have the tone of even the stock Gibsons.

You can get a vintage Gibson pickup on ebay quite easily. I've bought several over the years - probably around $100 or so
