First off I'll introduce myself as I'm new to the forum. I'm a bassist from the south east of England and have been playing bass for many years. I have recently had a clear out of guitars and now only have my Fender Jazz bass and my very first bass, a beaten up old Peavey.
From the post title, however, I'm sure you can guess what I have in mind! I'm wanting to build a grabber as I love the style of them but can't afford to buy that real deal. I'm a joiner with my own workshop and have had experience of making guitars in the past so naturally I have a desire to build my own instruments.
The difficulty I'm having with this project though is the body profile. I can find the dimensions of the grabber body but really I need a template that I can work off of.
If anybody on the forum has a grabber or the Epiphone ripper or knows of anybody that would be willing to draw around their instrument for me I would be hugely grateful. I will pay for postage, send saes and a piece of paper big enough in return for the outline if anyone would be kind enough.
