Well, just picked up a fretless 75 Tobacco Burst Ripper on ebay! So now I have fretted and fretless of the same bass.... life is complete. This one has some serious fingerboard issues... but I imagine it can be fixed. The seller was either dishonest about the condition, or was simply too stupid to know there was a problem. I guess in fairness, I'll choose the latter. But, in spite of the neck pickup not working properly...the body is in good shape, it's light, and has great tone on the notes that play well. It'll be a project, but well worth it. Here's a pic of the twins.
