Gibson IV??

There is one on my craigslist for $135. There are no pics of it on the ad. I searched it on google and apparently it's a very nice bass and it was made in the 80's-90's, but I can't find out anymore than that.

Anybody have info?

The man selling it says it's cream with black hardware.

Those are very 80's rock looking but apparently very nice basses. Well balanced with a great tone. They normally don't sell for alot because of the looks but the price you listed is exceptionally cheap. If it were me I would be calling the guy right away.

I've never seen one go for under $400.
They have Thunderbird PUs, nice necks and are well balanced. Hope it doesn't get away.

Never seen such a bass before though. For some odd reason it looks quite nice. Even though I'm not a Fenderisque fellow, even the body shape looks good.

The TB pickups alone are worth the asking price AFAIK.

This is my actual bass that the young lady is holding so seductively on her lap. I think that if anyone can get hold of a Gibson IV they should take advantage of one of the great bargains out there. All the sound of the T-bird but without the neck dive. It's balanced, very nice to play, and if you like the looks it will give you years of bass-playing pleasure.

P.S. The black bra is photoshop'd!!!

The one bass that I really regret selling was a Gibson IV. I agree with previous posts. It's worth going out of your way if you can get it for $135.
