Gibson players help !!

I got a Tokai EB3 clone that is humming like a mofo when i use overdrive with the bridge pickup , can anyone who plays a Gibson or Epiphone tell me if it's normal to get hum from an EB3 ?

i suggest a fluke or other good meter check on that pup. then if nothing shows, a good check of the caps. if it only does it in one switch position, then a check of the switch if it has a varitone type on it. a 3p4t EB3 switch can be hard to find.
