Gibson RD: Bass vs Guitar size

So Gibson made the RD in both a guitar and bass versions. The question I have is if the dimensions and materials of the bodies of both the guitar and bass are the same.

My guess is yess, going by the two RD Artist guitars I used to own. Definitely the materials (maple).

So are the guitars as heavy as the basses then?

Probably heavier with their longer necks. At the time I had those guitars I was a lot younger and weight didn't seem to figure into the equation much.
