Gibson Ripper: Hot tips

Yo....great call on the Ripper. If your pickups eventually become microphonic (like mine did on one of my two), get the Seymour Duncan replacements, or maybe if Curtis Novak will make some for you, that would be even better. Hot tips otherwise? Dunno...there's a few re-wire mods to change the sound of one or more of the 4 positions, but it's just a vague memory. Otherwise, put some super long scale strings on that beast and go rage. Also: flats are hot on there too! But run it through some doomy pedal(s) and a big amp and prepare to get stoked.

Two of my peoples in Toronto! Nice. No, I'm studio bound, no gigs on the horizon, though I not so secretly wish I could just get out of the submarine for a while and go tour.
