Gibson String Length? Grabber Content

Nice looking! So basically if it's a typical 34" scale you should be ok with most of the Typical long scale strings on the market. 37 1/4 like Dean Markley blue steel or DR strings 38". Basically at least over 37 but I think 40 might be a little much. Just make sure you know what size strings you're getting and then measure the length from your bridge to the nut and make sure the taper is past that by a few inches so you give yourself room past the nut when you string them. Hope I was able to help.
Is it a 34" scale? If so, most "long scale" should be long enough as they range between 37.25" and 37.75" in winding length (ball end to taper/silk).
Here's how GHS Pressurewounds (37.25" winding) fit on my 2014 Am Std P bass "thru-body"...
When I had one of those , I just used regular long scale strings. Never had a problem. it was over thirty-five years ago, so if there ever was any problem, I might have forgotten by now.

Gibson Grabber and Ripper basses are 34 1/2 inch scale, but the strings should fit since they have a top load plate bridge and the Gibson strings are probably made by D'Addario with a 37 1/8 winding or speaking length.

Just to close the loop, I put the Gibson strings on....they fit and I really like them!
