Gig bag for Fender Mustang?

Another vote for the Gator ProGo Guitar bag. I use one for my JMJ Mustang. Take the extra foam at the bottom out and it fits like a glove and is very protective.
I had the gator baritone bag that worked for my short scale bass, but I upcycled a PRS baritone bag, and sent the Gator along with the PRS when I sold it.
It will fit in the vertigo guit bag but the top is snug. For me this defeats the floating neck safety system. The jazz guitar bag should give a tiny bit of distance.

I picked up the Fender FBSS-610 from Amazon for $40. It works well. Lightweight and sturdy. Good balance between quality and price.
I have the same bag for my JMJ. It's tight but good. Will take pic when I get home in a few hours.
I've seen more than a couple of raves for the Warwick Rockbag Starline bass bag, and it's evidently a whole lot of protection and feature for the money (and is too small for 34" Fender, but seems to fit 30" Fenders like a glove). All 2nd-hand info but I've got my eye on one...and the other on one of those Gators as they look pretty feasible too.
I also bought one of these. Yes, it is lightweight and the material itself does seem sturdy. But it has no internal foam padding at all. IMO, it's actually not much better than the original freebee.
On the positive side, however, I found it was just a smidgeon big for my MIJ Mustang Hybrid, and I was able to put in some detachable padding from another instrument bag. At least it now provides a bit of protection from below while standing on its end. And it fits more snugly now too.
Mono for guitar list 41.5 inches as internal length thats 105.41 cm,I messured my mustang it came to 1.09 cm(strap button to headstock).Thats why I didnt go for the mono,maybe you can fit the bass in there but better try it before buying.

I like that it looks like with the guitar bag, the tuning machines will be covered by the scratch resistant pad.
I noticed on the Gator Transit bag the neck support block is removable. I wonder if the transit (step down) guitar bag is the same size interior. Thanks for the helpful pics.
I can fit my mustang PJ in my mono guitar bag, but barely. I’d say probably fine for storage at home or low risk transport, but I don’t think it would offer the same level or protection as to a better fitting guitar. Don’t have a mono bass bag to try to speak to that fit.

I guess the downside is if you put the short scale in the full size Bass gig bag the bridge can scratch the interior fabric where if you use the Guitar size bag the scratch protectors all line up?

The Gators aren't easy to find right now but amazon has them, and momentarily on sale, too.
