Gig Worthy Combos: Yea or Nay?

I have a Carvin MB15 with a 15" ext cab. Each weighs about 30 lbs and with the combo and cab has 250 watts. I have only used it playing with very loud friends using PA support includind miked drums and the Carvin had no problem being heard at less than half volume. Plus it has a line out if you want to go into the mix. I would see no problem using most modern combos on a gig these days, especially if you have
the option of mixing in the PA.

This is about clear as mud.... to much info .... Just if you want to go combo,then get you a high powerd combo either a 15" or 12" and grab you an ext-cab and use as need.
Example is one of those Markbass Jeff Berlin 15" combo ..350watts@8ohms is plenty for most gigs and if you need more and another 8ohm cab to get you 500 watts and if you need more volume or stage volume than that... get you some steel points put on your boots and kick the guitarist in the A#$ and tell him to turn down you may want to have kids someday.....
