Gigging Amp Replacement

Hi all,

I currently have an Ashdown 180 EB, 1x15 combo.
I've gotten away with using it so far at smaller gigs as its been mic'd up but now its starting to be a problem

Can anyone recommend a cheap head and half stack that would be a good step up from my current set up ?

I'd ideally like to spend less than £300 then make up the rest by part ex the old amp (so I'd say £400 budget ?)

cheers Jamie :)

+1 look for a used rig. Amp with 300 or more watts @ 4 ohms, (500 is even better), and don't skimp on the speaker cab. A good 2x12 will take you a looong way. I like them better than 410's. Get an 8 ohm cab in any case. Leaves you room to add another one later for a BIG volume increase.
