Gigging cab configuration

Multiple cabs, multiple speakers and one cab, multiple speakers.

Indoor gigs: GK MB200 into 2 SVT210AV cabs vertically stacked.
Outdoor gigs: GK 400RB or MB500 into either a Peavey VB-810 or a Mesa Boogie Road Ready 215 depending on my mood.

In ears used in both scenarios. Cabs are mostly for the band members who won't do in ears and also a bit of stage dressing. Master volume and DI to the mains are your friend. Hopefully the sound tech is too if you control your stage volume.

Our band plays small to medium sized clubs. No bass in the PA so it's All Me.
Currently running an Ampeg PF-800 head through Ampeg NEO 4x10 and 2x10 bottoms.
I still have an SVT 8x10 in reserve though...

As I play stereo, 2 amps, 2 cabs. 1 410 cab, 1 115 cab. High gain tube amp on the 410, clean low end amp on the 115

For years it's been 2 1x10 Ampeg cabs with eminence drivers. Plenty of stage volume with little weight.

I use basically these, as conditions dictate, Small gigs either a Aguilar DB112 or maybe 2, lots of times, I'll use my old trusty Berg HS410, and for most outdoor gigs I'll use my Berg NV610, granted ,these are old cabs, but I like how they sound, and I'll put up with the weight, for as long as I can

Ha, you do not have my configuration listed, but all good. I use a Bergantino HDN210 and HDN112, so one of my cabs has 2 drivers and the other 1 driver. Anyway, still the best sound I have found in a "neo driver cab" after trying almost every high end piece of gear out there including Barefaced, Fearless, Auduokinesis, and the list continues. Good luck in your search. O, and I can lift one cab in each hand, that's a win to me.

I play bass uke/mini bass guitar with a 50 person ukulele group and I always want to be as compact as possible. This is my rig for large indoor and most any outdoor gig; a Carvin MB15 Combo 200/250w 15" neo with matching 115MBE cab that I use with a battery pack. Each box weighs under 28 pounds and fits in an old lady shopping cart. The bass is 22" scale, custom made to look like a Fender Telecaster guitar.

I use two cabs. I made both. They are based on the dimensions of the Bagend series. A single 15 on the bottom with an ultralight eminence 15, and a single 12 cab, but with 2 Fatal 3" mid/tweets, an 12 inch Eminence 3012 (non-lf) and a custom crossover. The 15 is sealed (it just adds a nice punch and is run wide open but has a nice rolloff) The 3" Fatals add some great "air". I also play electric cello and this works very well for that as well. The amp is a GK MB200 with A Zoom RC70 multi effect -(this thing is great.)

MAS powered 2x8. Sometimes I add a MAS 1x8. Head is a SonicFarm Tantra. Yes, it can do 'stupid loud'.
Also use an Epifani 410ul and the Tantra for a 'works everywhere' 2pc rig. Simple, quick, and sounds great.

Also, since that photo some years ago, I had the bass painted Capri Orange by Pat Wilkins because I didn't like the miss-match of the natural poplar the builder chose.

Since 2008 I've been gigging "two", 8 ohm, 210 cabinets stacked as a vertical 410 in a working country/rock group.

Heads used, either a Mesa Subway 800+, or a G.K.MB2-500.
I've recently bought a used G.K. Fusion 800 but haven't started gigging it yet.

Two 1x12 cabs is one of the nicest setups
I have used. Stack'em and you have a great monitor at ear level.

I have both "Elfs" the 1X10 and the 2x8. At rehearsals and smaller gigs--My TC Electronics BQ500 and the 1X10. On bigger gigs I use the Quilter Bass Block 800 and both cabinets.

Before covid I used the following: SVT-3Pro DI to the board and driving an Aguilar GS-412 cabinet mic'ed with an SM 57 on the third speaker offset from the cone. The balance of the DI and the mic absolutely sang FOH and my monitor feed was exquisite whether I used in-ears or wedges (depending on the gig: outside/shed shows=wedges, indoors=in-ears)...

I use a pair of Genzler 12-3 Array cabinets. They have a single 12" with four 3" in an array pattern down the center of the cabinet. They do everything from a small jazz gig to a stadium show. I have been using them for the past seven years, and they give me flexibility, great tone, and I can clearly hear all the subtlety of what I am playing, so no need for monitors.
As to my amp, I use a Samson MXS 3500 and an Alembic F1X tube preamp in a Gator 3 space rack. I use the F1X because it has a direct out, which is a must for a well rounded rig. I also have alternate amps from Walter Woods, and a Fender Rumble 800, but they are for when I am too lazy to bring my 3 space rack setup which gives me the best tone and tons of headroom.
I play on average 2-3 nights per week on local gigs, and do not find this rig setup too much of a hassle. I know many players who look for the smallest combo amp to keep things simple and light, but I refuse to compromise on the quality of sound, and besides, my rig is not all that heavy anyway.
