Otherwise known as a TP (Tactical Pee).Preferably before you go on stage. I call it the pregame nervous leak.
Don't skip dinner before a show. Being hungry with no energy on stage is no fun.
Don't ask for the bog ( toilet) to club staff in prauge , or they may force herbal cigerettes on you lol , or play drunk, fall over onstage and twist ankle in Poland then have to stand very still strapped up in berlin the next night . . . a euro jolly to remember
...but don't try the chili fries with extra sriracha.
I like the "jazz trick": if you play a riff wrong, play it wrong a second time shortly after to pretend it was a variation on purpose. Don't know if it's really a clever thing to do, but it gives me back the feeling of confidence and control, and it's also become kind of an in-joke in the band.
My first upright teacher told me:
if you screw it up once, it's a mistake
if you screw it up the same way twice, it's two mistakes
if you screw it up the same way three times, it's jazz.
Don't leave the venue with a pretty young thing and expect the rest of your bandmates to pack up your stuff for you.
