Giorgio Kilkenny

I've been a fan of Dexys Midnight Runners for a few years, and have always listened carefully to the bass. The perfect balance of blending in and standing out.

But today hearing them I was wondering a bit more about Giorgio Kilkenny.

Does anyone know anything about him? What bass he used, other notable projects he has been in?

I know him and have played with him back in the late 80s (post Dexy's)
Giorgio Kilkenny was just a made up name for his Dexy's work.
His real name is Mick. He played in Coventry based bands before Dexy's.
When I played with him he'd switched to keyboards, but had a custom made partscaster bass. I hardly saw him ever pick the bass up.
He's a senior business guy now and as far as I know stopped playing when his business career took over.
