Good job man! I like the composition.
But you 'asked' for feedback so here it is,...
I don't know what the requirements are for the audition. I don't know how many pieces you can play. But since you only sent me 1 I'm gonna' assume you just needed 1.
If I was 'accessing' someone as a bass player and they only had 1 piece to play,...I'd want to hear them play the bass. Even though you did what you did very well it doesn't show me how well you function as a bass player. The piece you played showed me that you have some technique and that you can be creative by yourself.
If you're allowed to play more than one piece you should play a piece that showcases you as a bass player,...something that you would do with a band.
And I highly recommend that you DON'T do a piece made famous by another bass player. I see kids make that mistake all the time. You're never gonna' do Victor as well as Victor, you're never gonna' do Jaco as well as Jaco.
I'd find a song that has a great bass line but not a 'bass song'. I always recommend "Heard It Through The Grapevine" by Gladys Knight and the Pips. The studio version. There's some great bass playing on that song. Deceptively hard. I'm not saying for you to pick that song I'm just telling to have a song that showcases bass playing. You should always have a song like that in your back pocket.
I've had so many students work on prepared pieces for audition and then end up never playing the prepared piece.
But no matter what happens and what you play I'm sure it'll be good.
