GK 700RB-II - DI post EQ no sound?

I've got a new GK 700RB-II and finally got around to testing the DI. It works fine with the button in the preEQ position, but in the postEQ position there is no audible output. I would expect some volume difference, but the sound goes completely away. EQ is set full noon with Boost at 3:00 o'clock and Woofer at noon. Any ideas on other things to try?

I've made various adjustments to the EQ and input stages with no luck. Also reached out to GK support via email without a response (two weeks ago).

Has this inquiry been answered? If not, try the dedicated direct out level.

Looking at the schematic, it would most likely be a bad Pre/Post switch, cold or missing solder joint, open or missing cap or resistor. If new G-K or the place you bought from should take care of you with no trouble. Email [email protected] or [email protected].

Thanks for the info. I finally got a hold of GK and they referred me to a service center. Not exactly convenient... Especially on a two month old amp. The place I bought it from wasn't interested in helping since it is outside of their two week return /exchange policy.

So, off to the nearest service center that only takes stuff by appointment and is 50-miles away. Not impressed, GK.

I thought they will have you send the amp to them and get it fixed and send it back? Most people say that GK has the best CS.

Anyway, hope you get it back soon.
