What's the difference between the GK 700RB head and the GK 700RB-II? Sorry for the dumb question..

The Mark II series definately has less treble response.

They also have more power than the Mark I series.

The boost control, to my ear, sounds a lot better on the newer models.

The Mk II series has the updated EQ section which has an overall smoother response. I just upgraded from the Mk-I style to the Mk-II style and can attest to this. Much smoother and more musical.
