atleast they say that they haven´t changed anything because bassplayers always wanted it the way it was. seen that answer from another thread about the GK800. try do a search?

yes i did the search and found that sentence.

i just would read some comments on this. it really bugs me seeing all those "reissue" that are not really same as in the past. (Ampeg svt and B15...)

Well you got us there. The LED light is a different color and the knobs are different. Oh and the original one had two output jacks for the High Amp, now it only has one. Hmm, what else is different. The only electronic change was to the DI to add protection from Phantom Power. That was done around 1992. And the Transformer was changed from the square type to a Toroidial type around 99.
