Just got a call from the repair shop. They said that they had it running on the bench for 2 hours and could not reproduce the problem. Now, since they didn't find anything wrong, GK's warranty won't cover the $40 bench fee.
The amp had been acting up consistently for a month. It sat in the shop for 3 weeks. When they finally got around to working on it, they find nothing. PLUS, neither GK's warranty NOR my extended warranty from Guitar Center won't cover it.
