I got this amp from a friend... Did not work when I got it... I took the cover off and found the fuse was blown... I replaced the fuse with the correct one and it blew as soon as I plugged it in and turned the power on... Not sure what to do next... Any suggestions?

are you sure you have the correct fuse?

I have a similar problem going on with an amp which is in for servicing. You might need to get someone to fix it.

But, I'll say this, Backlines are good amps for the money. It might not be worth getting it fixed, depending on how much it'll cost. They go for $200-250 used.

If you need to start shipping for service, its going to drive the bill up fast ... I would list the city you are in on here and maybe somebody around you can chime in with a recommendation in your proximity ...

The BL600 is not very heavy so shipping should be that much. Contact [email protected] for factory service in California or a recommended local center. Could be shorted rectifier, transformer or output devices. Great amp in working condition by the way!
