GK head with Hartke cab?

A lot of guys absolutely love that combination. It's a good cab, but I had a Transporter 410, that didn't really work for me personally. I found the aluminum cones a bit to spiky.

The thing is, when it comes to this stuff, tone is subjective. It also depends on your bass. Are you looking for a room-filling, low end 15" cab? or a punchy-crunchy 410? The 700rb is a great head, so finding a cab should be easy. There's nothing wrong with the upper mid-heavey GK Neo 410 cabs, which in my opinion, cut through better than the Hartke. Then again, I'm all about the Shroeder 212l.

Ask 10 guys you'll get 10 different answers. My advice is to try out as many as you can and pick the one that speaks to you.

GK into Hartke cabs is a classic going back to the '80s. My drummer has an old 400RB and Hartke 410, and it has that sound. You plug in, and it's got that Duff McKagan thing in spades.

I think the 700RB into Hydrive or AK Hartke cabs would match well.

It all depends on what kind of sound you're lookig for.
