GK mb110 or MB112 ii?

Hi everybody,

I play both upright and electric. I’m looking for a small inexpensive amp to handle both instruments and am seriously considering an MB112 ii. I hear though that the mb110 sounds better for DB but the MB112 would provide more volume for the EB. Does Anyone have an opinion as to which would be a better fit for overall? I have a much bigger amp for loud gigs so volume isn’t the most important consideration. Thank you!

I picked up the MB110 last week and a friend got the MB112. Within the framework they were designed for, I don’t think there is much difference. We both have larger amps as you. I’d go with the 110 and save the $100. Feature wise, they are nearly identical and both can drive the powered extension speaker or be DI’d into the sound system. Honestly, sound systems have gotten much better from past years....not a lot of need for big amps these days. I even put my Markbass up for sale.
