Double Bass GK MB200 + Full Circle input impedance?

Looking for a small backup amp. If I can read the manual on GK's site, the input inpedance on the MB200 is 1Mohm which should be enough for running the Full Circle without preamp.

Has anyone tried the MB200 + Full Circle without preamp with success?

You don't need a buffering preamp with GK amps, especially not when using Full Circle or Realist pickups.
You may, however, want a preamp if you need to go really loud - in that case it's great to have a phase switch or HPF, provided for example by the Fdeck's great preamp, to fight with feedback.
For low / medium volume I would recommend to go straight into the amp, it's easy and fine sounding.

I've used that combination on a ton of gigs without any difficulty at all. Takes a little EQ, but the MB200 sounds great with the Full Circle. No preamp required.

I use this amp a lot w. my basses which all have Full Circle's on them. It how ever has a point as Jaromir said where you might need phase reversal or more EQ possibility to help w. feedback. I am using it w. an EA Wizzy 10 most of the time and for me it is a very light , plug and play rig. That amp is a bargain.....
