GK MB800 FUSION RELEASE DATE??

I just watched a video from NAMM for a GK MB800 Fusion!!! I had a MB500 fusion that I immediately regret selling!

The MB500 Fusion was a great little amp and I am really curious about the new 800 model.

Does anyone know when we can expect to see it for sale?? I couldn't find any info about it in my preliminary searches online!

Thanks!!

Brad

GK, unfortunately, shows prototypes at NAMM a LONG time before they are ready for introduction. I believe it was about a year between announcement of the MB F500 and actual shipping, so my guess would be around November/December, based again on the previous announcement to delivery periods.

Let's hope it won't be as long this time. The MBFusion800 was a VERY impressive unit when I checked it out briefly at NAMM.

I had a regular 550 which I loved the tone of, but not the motorized knobs; it also had some intermittent noise issues out of the gate so it went back. The 800's regular knobs and more power to boot sounds like a winner to me! I hope it comes out soon and ends up being reliable.

GK certification is a deep process and is much wider than just UL for USA; they're compliant with many international standards as well. Long process...

I still want one;)

I'm sure RAG to raise his pricing to satisfy you? Maybe up to Mesa, GenzBenz, Water Woods, Ampeg???? :D

Absolutely no clue what your post means, but let me clarify my initial point.....

The MB Fusion 800 listed on the site provided above shows a price that is LESS than the current price for the MB Fusion 500 ($699 at MF as an example).

As this amp is not yet released and there are no specs listed on the site in question, isn't it safe to say that this retailer might not be selling a 800w version of the MB Fusion for less than the online price of the 500w version?

The MB 800 (not Fusion) has sold for under $700, I doubt the Fusion 800 will unless GK is reducing prices across the entire line.

Just common sense IMO.
