I have an older GK neo 210 cabinet, maybe an earlier generation cabinet. I've only ever powered it with an MB200 or an MB500 head. I play an active (or occasionally a passive) five string bass. Lower strings or notes like the E or B cause a rattling, farting noise.
Blown speaker? Something come loose in there? I don't think I've run too much through it. At eight ohms neither head would have been too many watts...at least I wouldn't think anyway. I seem to remember that it started after around a year or so. I've had the cabinet for maybe five years, bought new, to give you an idea of it's era.
Any ideas? Anybody have one of this time frame and had the same issue?
BnB
EDIT: mine is a standard upright cab, not one of the tilt back cabs.
