GK overdrive circuit

Hello all. I have an older GK Backline 250 laying around that was my main amp before I got my 700rb-ii. It has a pretty good OD circuit to it, and I was wondering if there was any way to somehow run that through my 700, whether it be in a homemade rack or pedal form, or somehow just run through the whole Backline, and into my 700. Mainly would use this just at home unless there's an easy way to make it portable without dragging 2 amps around.

Thanks!

Thanks all! Was going to try this last night but realized the ol Backline blew a fuse last time I used it. Gonna grab a replacement fuse after work today. I wish the 700 had that OD built in.

That diesel dawg does sound like a possibility though. Just looking for a little dirt and grit in my sound lately. Kinda more of a sweet crunch type thing. Hard to explain haha. Nothing too distorted just a little driven.

I know that the topic is 6 years old, but I have the same situation as the OP.

I have an old GK Backline 112 combo. I LOVE how it sounds with the gain low as possible, that the overdrive kicks in only when the strings are attacked hard.
I also have a GK MB410 + 410MBP stack, that would benefit from having a little bit of dirt in front of it.

Is it technically possible to remove the overdrive circuit from the Backline and put into a separate stomp box?

@rag ?
