Double Bass GK Plex on upright??

Nope. But their amps have long been a staple in the URB community, so I don't see why it wouldn't work.
My educated guess is that it's voiced primarialy for EB. That does not mean that wouldn't work with Double Bas however.
I wanted to get the plex as a back up for my summer gigs. There are 2 seasons why I didn't get it (yet 
)
1st, Price. 300+€ for a preamp
2st, It's was really built around the sound of the electric. I don't think it has the same sound as our favorite the MB150. I'm sure someone had tried it with an a upright, from all the demos on the land of YouTube it's way to more modern electric than GK.
