GK Problem - Half Broken

I just called Yorkville Sound (which is a GK authorized service center) and told them the problem with the head. They figure the problem with the turn on/popping noise is a power supply issue. They don't really know what the burnt smell is but they recommended getting it serviced again. They also said these new problems most likely aren't related to the previous repair, its just a whole new set of problems so I'm guessing that means that the repair wil come out of my pocket.

I asked them for copy of what was repaired on my head last time and they said they couldn't give it out to me personally, that I'd have to go through the local store that shipped the head out for me. So I called them and gave them my information and I should get a copy of the repair in my e-mail in the next day or so. I think I'll e-mail Brian and Daniel at gallien.com and see what they say, couldn't hurt.

So I haven't been playing in the last while, so I haven't had a need to use my bass amp. but I started playing again and I've run into problems again. My head is still acting up (same burnt smell after awhile of playing) and it just blew my NEO 115 woofer. My local store says its going to cost around $400-$500 for a new woofer...
