GK RB series sound samples

Hello all lowenders!
While looking for an answer if I want to go with 700 RB II or 1001 RB II I have realized there are no decent audio samples of those amps. YT is very poor in materials about those amps. Honestly I never heard GK growl. With that reasoning I am not sure which amp to pair with my 8ohm 212 Neo cabinet.

I would really appreciate if you TB members could help with some samples! If possible with a Stingray!

I know it’s a big ask but I believe in the power of TB family!

Thank you in advance!

Awesome! Thank you! I am wondering if I will be able to push 1001 RB II with 8 ohm cabinet to growl. I am a great deal on it, better price than 700 RB II.
If anybody would have more samples I would very much appreciate that!
The "Boost" knob will help you get that grindy "Hitting the rails" sound, while master volume ("Woofer/Tweeter" volume) can help you mitigate the ear-bleeding volume you'll get with that 1001RB-II into a 2x12. The Boost acts as a sort of post EQ gain knob, it's typically recommended to start with it at noon, but you can get some very nice grit when approaching 2-3 o'clock.

If you're able to get a better deal on the 1001RB-II I'd snag it....only downside there is the added weight. Either amp will do plenty of damage on nearly any stage with that 2x12s.

EDIT: If my gear wasn't packed away (and I wasn't in a dadgum apartment...) I'd record some samples. I don't have a cabinet to play my 700RB-II through anyway though, but it's been excellent with any cab I've put it through.

The boost knob is indeed the grind control. What’s nice about the 1001 vs the 700 is that if you don’t want the grind you’ll still have plenty of power in reserve for a very loud, more sterile tone. You will quickly discover their relationship between the Boost and the Woofer volume once you get it in your hands.

I think the 1001 would be great on the 8 ohm 2x12!
