I'm so on the fence right now with a backup. Part of me thinks about waiting for the MB Fusion, and relegating my 700rbII to backup duty..... but then I play my 700, and think I'm really getting the tone I want, but just need a lower powered package, which could serve rehearsal and backup needs.

Judging by two pics I have seen somewhere else, I would say the same : not detachable. Plus, I guess GK would have advertised it in their preview as a MB2-500 head + some MB cab then, ala "shuttle" combo.

It seemed nicely done and integrated, by the way. I can't wait for the MB 210 to arrive

Still, I would have liked to see some MB cab which could accommodate either the MB2-500 or the MB Fusion, but I guess they dropped the idea... It would be nice to hear from Brian or RAG on that one, effectively !
