I was wondering, I noticed this in some gutar magazine, and wondered if it were too good to be true. I want something I can use at gigs (havent had any big gigs, and dont plan on anything big, but I want something that will be heard when I play). This is pretty amazing, I love the whole GK thing. Any reccomendations, if this isn't worth the $300.

STICK WITH THE GK BRAND! if you were to get that Gk 115 brat pack you wouldnt have too much power and the 115 speaker wouldnt give u as good a tone. i would say look at the 410 with the 600 head deal. or a bigger combo like the one i use. here is the link. mine works fine with big gigs or practice and its got plenty of wattage and can be paired with another cab.

The "brat pack half stack" is a head plus speaker, sold as a package deal.

As mentioned above, it's a 125-W head that can only drive 8 Ohms. My personal opinion is that if you can get away with 125 W into a 15" speaker, then you are in combo territory, and I would recommend a combo instead for convenience.

Also, $300 is a sort of turning point with bass amps, where just a bit more coin could get you a lot more amp. +1 about GK and the Backline 600 head.

here is a pik of mine stacked with a 410 cab.
