In the market for a gl jazz bass...have found 2..pretty much same ballpark price...question is...is one "better" than the other?...both cij....i know one is the 1st run limited edition and the other is just a 06...just trying to get the right one....one i can test out and the other i cant...6 hours away..any specific details greatly appreciated!!

GL jazz bass...1998vs 2006..any REAL diferences?

Can't add to the specifics of your question but generally G& L are solid builds, materials probably not much different in both year/models.
Bought my fist G&L last year, pursuing others in 2018.
They're solid, pretty much can't go wrong.

How did you manage to find 2 CiJ G&L JB's?
Not once have I seen one for sale here...probably because it would cost more in the long run (bass cost + shipping/import fee) than to buy a USA model...
