GL L2000 or Fender active deluxe jazz???

im making a choice between these two. i love fender jazz but dont like the whole MIM thing but always heard good things about the G&L...anybody have opinions on which has more versatility & the tonal difference??

After having owned many Fenders and G&L's, I think the G&L is more versatile. If you order a USA L2000, you can get the single coil option at no extra cost.

How about the MIA deluxe? I've owned both the Fender deluxe and the L2000. The G&L is honestly the "swiss army knife" of that can do anything but I've decided I'm a classic J guy with the need for a nice pre and get that in spades with the Fender MIA Dlx.
