Not entirely music direct, but both closeup and distance has deteriorated over the past year to the point where I absolutely need glasses at night to drive, and for close up work, reading, etc. I need glasses.
Poses a problem in stage, as I often times rely on charts and cheat sheets on an iPad to get me through tunes that are sprung on me on short notice.
Im sure there are others in this situation. What did you do?
I read just your post, don't know if anyone else has it, but I have macular degeneration to the point my license was cancelled a few weeks ago...I'm in the first throws of wanting to go shopping and here I sit...been working on my guitar kits and things to keep me busy, I can take the bus to work, etc....
Juuuust sum'n else to get used to...my skin's crawling...
Without glasses I CAN see, read close up (near-vision) but with them, I can't see close up (they're for...distance) and, let's just say, the sub-titles when people speak in other languages on Tee-Wee isn't big enough to see...with a 48" screen...
