Curried goat can be sublime. I played a wedding one time where the groom's family were Indian and grandma made me take home several pounds of leftovers. It didn't take any arm twisting at all.
Primarily as a demonstration of the much-ignored maxim "there are no universal absolutes" but also to piss off some of my jazz-cenric friends, I often used to posit the claim that Herb Alpert and Al Hirt were both "better" trumpet players than Miles Davis.
Seriously.
Of course, that argument is mostly designed to point out how non-specific the qualifications for most "Best Of" or "Top 10" lists are. But it can also be taken at face value: Hirt & Alpert were "better" trumpet players than Davis.
But Davis isn't really revered for his trumpet playing; he's an icon for all the other things he contributed to music.

In Jordan's defense--and I'm not a fanboy or really even a Bulls fan, I moved to Chicago post-Jordan--he would have gotten more MVPs, but they simply got tired of giving it to him (much like they do with James now). Also, Jordan was the Finals MVP 6 times, while Kareem only won it twice, as Magic was the best player on at least 3 of those four loaded Lakers championship teams.
