Godin Shifter bass (3 pup) - interesting

Bit late to this thread.
I've got the Shifter Classic 4 as an ebay bargain recently and I am finding that the more I play it the more I love it. The neck, the action, the finish, the sound, the way it hangs perfectly on the strap with no dive at all..... almost everything about it is just fantastic. Once I get the hum sorted out it'll be damn near perfect for me. I have NEVER had an instrument that i enjoy like this. At a break at rehearsal last night while the others were chatting I found myself just looking at it and admiring how good it looks. I know, sad right??

I'm sure part of it is the fact that i've never had an instrument this good and if I laid down big $$$$ on another good quality bass I might feel the same, but it talks to me like nothing else i've played, and that includes the whole stock of basses at my nearest decent music shop...... even basses that I'd never be able to afford.

is there a Godin club around here?

I think one needs to be started. How do we go about that??
