When I used to work at the Home Depot there would often be interesting vehicles parked in the lot.
A Jurassic Jeep, for example:
Or 1959 (?) Cadillac
After leaving the Depot, I returned to driving for a Paratransit company servicing the greater Los Angeles area and San Fernando Valley.
1974 Chevy Blazer in Sylmar:
70s Eldorado
About a '67 Cougar:
And a '53 (?) Chevy pickup, also in Sylmar:
My passenger said that her husband was the original owner, as you can see it was all original and still ran as it should.

My dad had a '76 Eldorado convertible. That was an awesome car!
74 Blazer...... full convertible. I had a 73 and I miss it. Was probably my favorite truck that I've ever owned. Bought it sight unseen for $400 and drove it for many years.
70's El Dorado...... 500 cubes of brute force and ignorance under that hood. The 1970 & 71 models packed 400 ponies and 550 ft/lbs of torque (all in by 2800 RPM) on regular gas.
By 1972 compression ratios dropped quicker than the stock market and the 500 was a shadow of it's former self.
We were lucky enough to grab a 1971 500 and rework it with some minor tweaks, eventually to install it in a 77 K5 Blazer. We added a roller valvetrain, home built headers, electric ignition and an Edelbrock intake topped by a custom built "Mike N" Quadrajet. The truck ran low 15 second 1/4 mile times at nearly 90 mph, while standing 9' tall and turning 44" Super Swampers.
That engine ran out of steam at 4500 rpm, but it tore your head off getting there......

I had a GF whose Plymouth Volare wagon was named "Vlad the Impaler".

A couple of weeks ago I saw this on I-76 in Philly, and after some research I think it's a Lancia Flaminia Pininfarina, possibly 1963. It looked really cool, and I wish I could have gotten better pix.
