Going for walks, seeing some cool cars.

Don't know the exact year of this cool old GM product. I'm thinking 1970.
Anyone walking by my place will see this pile 
A few recent sightings here in Philly. The psychedelic Caddy with the Electric Factory sign is parked at Drexel University, and the sign and front plate were recently stolen. (Note the plate combines the DSOM cover with Steal Your Face.) The Batmobile appeared in the Mummers' Parade on New Year's Day. The Element "Woodie" is, well, interesting. A surprising number of Elements are still out and about in Philly.

The vette has got to be a 78 or 79 because it has the rear wrap around window.
Good catch. I didn't realize the Vette was a few years behind the Camaro, which got the wraparound window in 75.
Gaaah, why do all the cool cars have to be expensive (and expensive to maintain/repair)?
A few years ago when the Targa was revived I sat in one in a dealer. Surprisingly, it was very comfortable. I'm not sure why other sport and exotic car mfg's don't get it - but at 6'5" tall, finding something "sporty" to drive is a challenge. The Porsche felt like perfection. Corvette's disagree with the back of my head (that roof cross-member) and as much as I love Vipers, when seated in one I look forward and see the frame portion that holds the top of the windshield.
I haven't tried any of the Italian brands because those - not to mention these - are unobtainium to me.Based on my most recent mistake of allowing my son to buy an older BMW, unfortunately I cannot bring myself to own something German again. And, having driven a Jeep Wrangler for a few years now, I don't like being so close to the ground.
Looks like I'll have to save my change for one of these...
