The original variable venturi carburetor...... I haven't messed with a Predator in about 35 years.

Iirc, not all of them came with an idle kit, I seem to remember adding one to a Predator we had on my buddy's 77 Blazer.

Eventually we ditched it for a good old fashioned Quadrajet.

I didn't know Opels were sold in the US...
Yep, they were sold at Buick-Opel dealers. Then GM messed up with a very bad judgment call and and stared to import an Isuza :poop:-box from Japan and tried to past it off an Opel with the Opel logo. That was the death of Opel in the USA.
