Going to an audition soon

I once "auditioned for a guy trying to put a band together where he sent me a list of around 30 songs to pick a few from for the audition. I knew a few and worked on a couple others that I liked; when he and I got together he asked me which list did he send me. He said he really didn't know any of those songs on the list, and then proceeded to play songs I did not know or ever heard of, even!

At that point i would have played one of the songs from the list he sent just to see if the clueless dufus would have noticed.

I’m sure you think that, but 1)he doesn’t specifically state and 2) unusual genre aside, I wouldn’t put it past anyone to do unusual covers.
