Going to see Black Flag

I'd probably rather see Flag, but if this iteration of Black Flag were to come close at a decent price, I'd probably go, though I wouldn't drive far for it.

I saw the Dead Kennedys a few years ago without Jello (and actually drove a fair distance and paid for a hotel) and it actually was pretty great, although I'm not sure many people agree with me

Is Exene as strange as I suspect she is?
They were sort of like the House Band at the Whisky in the mid-80s.

I've met Rollins, but not Exene.

Oh yeah, X were such a regular act at the Whisky that they were there for the 50th anniversary week celebration in 2014.

My band opened for John Doe and Exene doing solo sets awhile back at Alex’s Bar in Long Beach. Our guitarist was X’s road manager at the time. Probably had something to do with us getting the gig. I didn’t meet Exene but John was really nice and had some positive comments on the musicianship of our band. One of my friends recorded Exene a few times at his studio. He said he’d never seen someone who smoked as much pot as her.
