Going to Tampa. What do I do?

Experience the local seafood. We were down there this past August. Excellent grouper to be found.
Been many years since I’ve been there but:

Too bad the Kapok Tree Inn isn’t open anymore. That was an epic place.

I've been to Norway. It'll be easy for you. Probably the biggest thing is that distances to things are much greater here. Things in Norway are compact and easy to get to place to pace, especially by public transportation. Not here. Not recommended. If you want to go somewhere, rent a car. Exception in Tampa is that little streetcar than runs for several miles near downtown and out to a couple tourist areas. Definitely use streetcar for that. Car for everything else.
Even though 7-11 (convenience store) sells a Double Big Gulp that is half a gallon, it's still considered 64 fluid ounces.
I'm off to get one right now, Diet Mountain Dew:
bring lots of warm-weather clothing, or you can get some 2nd hand cheap at the Goodwill store. I understand 2nd hand shops are not really a thing in Scandinavia...

I think everyone covered a lot of the basics...
I was only in Tampa once, a 1 night stop on tour years ago. Don’t remember much, except that on Fri & Sat nights (I think), something like 20 sqr blocks are closed off to vehicular traffic, and it’s a giant, sinful street party. (Nearly naked women in street luring you into clubs, the guy in a robe walking down the street carrying a giant crucifix warning ppl to repent, etc...kind of a crazy trip!)
Ebor City I think it was.
Anyone know if that madness still goes on? (Might be worth at least catching a glimpse of it!)

So. Arrived in Tampa late last night. At this point im sitting at an Irish pub inside a mall. People are extremely friendly. I can used to it. Hope I get to see more of the city.
